Webmaster proudly announces 'the new look' for the website.
The Webmaster announced the availability of the new web site with its more professional appearance. Unlike the old one which was just cobbles together, the new site was built (mostly) with an Honest-To-God HTML Editor, specifically the freebie from Coffee Cup using web templates obtained for free also (see the bottom of the page for the Designer).

FEL receives award for CRAP.
FEL was awarded a citation by a Government Agency for its Constant Recidivism in Anonymous Projects (CRAP). President Horace Pukki, in his acceptance speech, pointed out that CRAP has always played a large role at FEL and probably always will.

A look at the Laboratories

Facilities.
The facilities at Fyreandyce Engineering Laboratories are the very best that we can make them. That isn't saying all that much, considering the state of the economy and the fact that Government spending on the kind of stuff we do and for the kind of organizations for which we do it has been severely curtailed in these austere times. But rest assured that if we do work for your organization, that work will be the best we can do using what we have. We rarely talk about them and never reveal them because many folks would be highly amused at how frivolous some of them are. But we love 'em anyway and will continue to honor them until they prove more foolish than we think they are, regardless of what others think

Eco-friendly campus.
We would just love to brag about our eco-friendly facilities, but the only thing we have that fits that description would have to be the grass that grows on the front lawn.

Our community-service project

Balloonists to benefit.
FEL has started another new community-based project. This one is for balloonists participating in the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival held annually the first full week of October. To be able to predict the wind phenomenon known as 'the box' would be a giant step forward, according to Chief Engineer Ibn Farteen. The new initiative, Fyreandyce Engineering Laboratories' Layered Air Temperature Inversion Observations, will be known as FEL/LATIO.

Juana Bleaugeob, the FEL/LATIO Project Leader, announced that, with the successful completion of the annual Albuquerque Balloon Festival, FEL/LATIO will be suspended until next August. As a tribute to the success of the project, she noted that while pilots were often blown rather indiscriminately, the famous Albuquerque Box was nearly always available.
